Privacy Policy
GoodFocus for macOS · last updated 13 September 2026
GoodFocus does not collect any data. The app makes no network requests. All of your sessions, entries, projects, and settings are stored in a database on your own Mac and are never transmitted anywhere.
Project-name suggestions are generated on your device using Apple's on-device Foundation Models framework; the text you type is not sent off the device to produce them.
We have no servers, no analytics, and no account system, so there is nothing for us to see, sell, or lose. If you delete the app, your data goes with it.
Beta testing
While GoodFocus is distributed through TestFlight, Apple collects crash logs and any feedback you choose to send, under Apple's privacy policy. That is Apple's collection, not ours, and it stops when the beta does.
